Simple Greek Yogurt Ranch

My family loves to eat this on a chopped salad or as a yummy dip for cut vegetables.

Greek Yogurt Ranch

This is an easy and healthy alternative to bottled dressing, which can be full of corn syrup, soy oil, and preservatives.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsn chives
  • 1/2 tbsn vinegar (white or apple cider are both fine)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dill
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Will store for up to one week in the refrigerator. This dressing tastes better when it has had a few hours to sit, so feel free to make ahead of time. Also, customize to your families tastes. It is a very flexible recipe. You can also substitute 1/4 cup buttermilk for the vinegar if buttermilk is something you keep on hand.

Enjoy!

Thanks! Everyone loves Ranch so this is a great alternative and it tasted great too. Probably better than Hidden Valley or wishbone I suppose ; )

    1. Yay! I am so glad you enjoyed it. Yes this is WAY better for you than bottled dressings, unless of course you are buying a very high quality one with only organic ingredients. When you are trying to eat healthy, bottled salad dressing can be one of those sneaky ways your efforts can be undermined.
